I love anything that Dorothy does!
I love this cookbook. The best part for me is the beginning of the book that gives you the basics of the baking tools and basic cooking ingredients you need to be successful. The selection of recipes is also awesome. Every basic dessert recipe you may need is here. And, as Dorothy herself states, if you start with a good basic recipe, you can always jazz it up with special/extra ingredients if you want later.
I would recommend this cookbook to anyone)
This is a very good resource for basic desserts. Her recipes are easy to follow, not complicated at all, and produce excellent results for the novice cook as well as the seasoned veteran.
